History

We are incredibly proud of the fact that our business is not only a commercial success but has also been able to positively impact on so many lives throughout the world. This has been achieved through, amongst others, our sales of Fairtrade products, our involvement with the One Water PlayPumps scheme and our own CarbonZero position.

After nearly ten years of trading and enjoying continuous, year-on-year growth, we feel we have earned our position as the UK's leading distributor of Fairtrade, ethical and organic products to the foodservice sector.

Throughout those years we have tried to maintain the core values on which the business was founded. These values are about creating and maintaining relationships at every level, right through from producer to consumer. We know where our products have originated - over the years we have met many of our growers and visited their communities and we have maintained strong relationships with these people. We have also developed our routes to market through a loyal and ever-increasing customer base. We are delighted that many of our customers have been dealing with us since we began in 2000 - we like to think this is because we work with them to help them build their businesses.

Our business is simple. It's about delivering great products on time, supported through product knowledge, training and advice.
