Peros was formed in 2000 by two contract caterers – co-directors Peter Goodey and James Roberts - who, after working together for five years successfully managing a number of major on-site contracts for blue-chip clients, decided there must be a better way of offering beverage solutions to the food service sector.
Among the principles at the heart of the Peros business are a desire to supply Fairtrade products to customers wherever possible and the importance of forming partnerships between customers, employees and suppliers. “There is a perfect synergy between these two principles as Fairtrade is all about working partnerships,” says Peter Goodey. “This approach has worked well for us as we now work with many Fairtrade brands allowing us to offer the widest possible range of ethical products to the foodservice market.”
